Software Engineer
We are hiring an experienced Software Engineer to help design, build, and maintain high-quality infrastructure.
This position requires U.S. citizenship or green card holder, with the individual based in the U.S.
The successful candidate should have DevOps experience with modern software development practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the platform infrastructure and tools for cloud and on-premises environments.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and security.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, Python, Docker, and related development tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services.
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
- U.S. citizenship or green card holder.
- At least five years of experience working with modern software development practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility with a remote-first, distributed team.
This is a full-time, US-based, remote position.
Compensation includes an annual salary of $100,000 to $190,000 with the potential for stock options.

RF Designer
We are seeking an RF Designer to join our team and help develop cutting-edge tools and technologies for the photonics, quantum, and analog semiconductor communities. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in designing and simulating RF circuits and systems, combined with a strong foundation in microwave engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Design, simulate, and optimize RF circuits for a variety of applications.
- Develop and maintain Process Design Kits (PDKs) for RF components.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet performance and integration goals.
- Perform detailed simulations and analyses of RF and microwave systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, design reports, and performance summaries.
- Stay current with the latest methods, tools, and trends in RF and microwave design.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with RF and EM simulation tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS, CST).
- Strong understanding of microwave engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Python and relevant scientific computing libraries.
- Experience in circuit design, layout, and parasitic extraction/analysis.
- Familiarity with GIT or other version control systems.
- Experience with open-source RF tools (e.g., Palace, OpenEMS, Qucs, scikit-rf) is a plus.

Photonics Designer
We are seeking a Photonics Designer to join our team and help advance the next generation of integrated photonic technologies. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing and simulating photonic circuits and devices, with a strong foundation in photonic device physics and numerical modeling tools.

- Design, simulate, and optimize photonic circuits and components for a variety of applications.
- Develop and maintain Process Design Kits (PDKs) for photonic foundry processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance and integration goals are met.
- Conduct optical and electromagnetic simulations and analyze performance metrics.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and design deliverables.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in photonic design, modeling, and fabrication.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with photonic simulation tools (e.g., Lumerical, OptiFDTD, Meep); familiarity with FDTD and FEM methods is a plus.
- Strong understanding of photonic device physics and waveguide-based systems.
- Proficiency in Python and scientific libraries (NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib).
- Experience with circuit design and layout tools (e.g., GDSFactory, KLayout, Nazca).
- Background in silicon photonics, integrated optics, or related fields.

Computational Simulation Engineer
We are seeking a Computational Simulation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computational electromagnetics, multiphysics modeling, and device simulation, with expertise in methods such as FDTD (Finite-Difference Time-Domain), FEM (Finite Element Method), TCAD (Technology Computer-Aided Design), and other advanced simulation techniques. Experience with Python and relevant scientific computing libraries is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain simulation algorithms across multiple computational methods (FDTD, FEM, TCAD, Monte Carlo, etc.).
- Implement multiphysics simulations combining electromagnetic, thermal, mechanical, and electronic effects.
- Analyze simulation results and collaborate closely with researchers and engineers on photonic, quantum, and analog device modeling.
- Optimize simulation performance and accuracy for various device geometries and material systems.
- Contribute to publications, technical reports, and open-source simulation frameworks.
- Develop new simulation methodologies for emerging photonic, quantum, and analog devices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong background in computational electromagnetics and numerical methods (FDTD, FEM, BEM, etc.).
- Experience with TCAD simulation tools and semiconductor device physics.
- Knowledge of multiphysics modeling and coupled simulation approaches.

VSCode Developer
We are seeking a VSCode Developer to join our team and help build powerful IDE extensions for photonic and semiconductor chip design. The ideal candidate has experience developing Visual Studio Code extensions and a passion for creating tools that enhance developer productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain VSCode extensions for chip design workflows.
- Implement language server protocols (LSP) for domain-specific languages.
- Create intuitive UI components and visualizations within the VSCode environment.
- Integrate extensions with backend services and simulation tools.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand user needs and improve developer experience.
- Write comprehensive tests and documentation for extensions.
Preferred Qualifications:

We are seeking an Analog Mixed Signal (AMS) Engineer to join our team and help develop tools for analog and mixed-signal IC design. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing and simulating analog circuits, with a strong foundation in circuit theory and semiconductor device physics.
Responsibilities:
- Design, simulate, and optimize analog and mixed-signal circuits for a variety of applications.
- Develop and maintain Process Design Kits (PDKs) for analog/mixed-signal components.
- Perform circuit simulations including DC, AC, transient, noise, and Monte Carlo analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AMS design workflows.
- Contribute to the development of open-source tools for analog circuit design.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in analog IC design methodologies and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with analog circuit design (amplifiers, data converters, PLLs, voltage references, etc.).
